Great chapter. Quite a turnaround for Harry. A really good sequence with Cho. A great resolution to that problem. A little sad that they lost to Slytherin but well done and for a good reason. Looking forward to the next chapter. Thank you for writing.

Thanks for the explanation about why Ron is in the dog house with Hermione. That explains a lot. I'm glad Harry and Ginny are straightened out. The plot thickend! It makes me a little uncomfortable about this defense professor. Why doesn't he declare himself about Voldemort?
How long is Dumbledore going to be out in a coma? Thank you for writing. I look forward to more of this story.

I am glad Harry and Ginny are so comfortable with each other now and that they recognize that they need each other. I look forward to seeing how Dumbledore prevents Voldemort from accessing Harry's mind again. I certainly hope that Dumbleldore survives this! Thank you for writing.

Thank you for writing. This is a good story. I like more daily detail in a story. It makes it more real. The characters become more real.

Thanks for doing such good work for those of us who can't write.

I read Consequences of the Heart, when it was on fanfiction, and when I saw that you joined this site. I had to re-read Consequences of the Heart, and start this story. What a wonderful contunation to the first part. I cant wait to see what you come up with next.

I await your next update

The font of power thing is an interesting idea. I have read several stories in which Harry got a significant boost in his magic, but this is a new approach. :)
Do continue writing! I'm looking forward to the next installment!

Great chapter. You're introducing a couple of interesting new concepts.
I wonder what Malfoy was about to say about the DADA professor. He did seem a bit suspicious to me from the start. Maybe he's another Death Eater in disguise and just shut Malfoy up to prevent him from spilling his secret.
About the painting in the last part of the chapter, the guy you mean is called 'Paracelsus'. Better correct that.

Heh. Looks like I misunderstood that passage with Harry and Ginny at the lake. I thought that while Harry may have showed Ginny his memories of their time together, the block in Ginny's mind was still in place. Reading it a second time, I realize that it has been shattered at that point. Is that correct?
However I guess we still have to put up with other cases of memory loss...

I hope my former review didn't sound too harsh, and that you understood that one sentence right: reading this series has proved to me that you are indeed worthy ;)
About the 'letting characters suffer in misery': that's exactly the point! I'm sick of the recurring theme of 'destined' pairings breaking up mid-story for various reasons, causing themselves and the reader a tremendous amount of pain (at least those readers that are not completely heartless ;) ). To make matters worse, most of the writers seem to have no original reason for breaking them up and merely do it because they don't have anything else to write about. It's old, it's chliched and it certainly doesn't add to the readers enjoyment of the story (at least that's my view). Read the end of chapter 6 and the beginning of the subsequent chapter of Jeconais' "This Means War" to see how he skewered that cliché and struck a blow for all those of us who think the same way.
However, looking at how far you've come, I think you might have a better reason than simply being out of ideas. I'm going to stick with your stories and see where they are going. If the situation indeed resolves soon, as you indicated in your response, then I certainly have nothing to complain about. ;)

This (and its prequel) has been an exceptionally good story so far. When reading your short H/Hr stories, I had doubts that you could live up to the quality of the other fics on this site network. Reading this series convinced me otherwise.
But now I ask myself why you made Ginny forget everything about her relationship with Harry. The thing is overdone and I'm sick and tired of authors throwing tripping rocks into people's relationships for the sake of that little extra drama.
I do hope you have a good reason for doing this. I noticed that Harry seems to have been affected by the spell, too, and he seems to have forgotten certain things as well. I still hope the matter of memory loss will be resolved rather quickly.
Otherwise I really can't find fault with your story. Thanks for making this such a good and enjoyable read!
