Interesting, a truly unique take on Harry's "back-in-time-to-make-things-right" take of the AUverse. Keep it up!

Getting rid of the snake is a good idea, but wouldn't Harry have simply used the sword to get rid of the diary first, the hat is right there. I always thought the sword only worked because it had absorbed some of the snake's venom.
Mr.Intel replied:
From what I could tell, the sword had to be needed to come out of the hat. Who knows where it was before then. Interesting thing about the snake venom though!

This is delightful! I am interested in seeing how Ginny and Harry bond so early.

I love this story, but I'm particularly fond of this one. So many of the Redo fics are either poorly written, abandoned, or just so overly complicated that they really aren't interesting. You've already taken some unique turns in yours, and I'm looking forward greatly to seeing where you go from here!
With Ravenclaw's diadem so close, I assume they'll go for that next? And how long till Pettigrew is discovered? Will Hermione and her research play a part in that, or will Harry inform Dumbledore about it in the interest of freeing Sirius from that torment asap? And what of Snape? How will he respond to this new Harry?
I liked the point you made about how the adventures they had together not only formed the trio into a united group, it also affected the type of people they became. Very insightful of you! Here's hoping that Harry is able to continue to have such adventures with his friends. They were the solid grounding he needed (and will continue to need in your fic, I'm sure!) and became his family. I'd hate to see him lose that.
Ginny's response doesn't worry me too much. As Harry observed, it's rather a lot to dump on a barely 11-year-old girl. A fascinating and admirable aspect of her character has always her strong, determined spirit. I would imagine that there's a part of her that would be irked at being told she became Harry's wife, denying her the chance to pursue him quietly the way she did. She faced down her own demons and came out a strong person in her original time. Being told that she was his wife must feel a bit like a spoiler to her, or perhaps like she had someone else do all the hard work and she didn't get to earn her right to stand beside him on her own two feet. I'm expressing myself badly here, but hopefully that all makes sense, LOL.
Again, I'm excited about this story and can't wait to see where your rich and creative imagination takes it!
Mr.Intel replied:
You expressed yourself wonderfully. It is a compliment to me that you would ask such detailed and thoughtful questions. I hope that as the story progresses your questions are answered and new ones form along the way.
Thank you.

Nice update. I'm really enjoying the story so far. I hope there's not too much angst stuff between Harry and Ginny.
I'm worried that Dumbledore might make some stupid mistakes with the Horcruxes.
Also, why doesn't Harry just tell everyone about Pettigrew, instead of that whole thing with finding ways to identify Animagi? Although that could be useful later, why is Harry taking so much time with revealing Pettigrew?
Mr.Intel replied:
On angst: Not much, but they don't run off and get married, either.
On Pettigrew: Chapter Three will reveal all. Or all will be revealed. Or... something. ;)

This is very well done. I can't imagine how an 11 year old Ginny would cope with the idea that she actually marries Harry in the future. At least the future he came back from. I look forward to more of this story. I am surprised that Harry and Dumbledore killed the basilisk so easily. Of course that is the main way to kill a basilisk. I hope Harry does come to like Hermione as much as he did before. She has to grow up too but a lot of their adventures probably contributed to the person she became before. Thanks for writing. pms

You done quite a creative job in addressing the threats that Harry can now prevent....it will be interesting to see how various events unfold with certain antecedent events missing. I particularly like the way you are handling the H/G relationship and how it is affected by the old Harry spirit in the young Harry body. I am definately looking forward to more of this fic!

This seems to be an interesting take you have on the Harry-going-back-in-time genre that some people have written. I've liked the first three chapters and can't wait to find out what the new threat of Harry's new second year will be. It will also be interesting to see how the relationship between Harry and Ginny develops. I wonder, though, if Ginny is just still a little angry or upset with Harry about their future or if it's something more sinister. The first time we knew she was too obssessed with the diary to pay much attention to the rest of them -- not that they paid much attention to her the first time. I hope you update quickly on this story because right now you've got me hooked and I can't wait to see what happens next -- especially with Malfoy.

Having been a fan of most of the red fics out there, I am glad to see you take this one on. Most of them turned into smut or really dark and violent fics. I'm glad to see you take this on.
Thoughts: I like that you brought everyone in early. And that Dumbledore isn't reviled here. Sometimes that just gets old.
I hope conference doesn't cut too far into your writing. I'm curious to see what happens hext. You've brought on Luna a bit, and I'm curious to see Neville too. Are we going to see them more?
And now that you've mentioned the Q word, are we going to see some quidditch? I hope se. Are you going to use the Elder wand and any of B7 revelations?
There's so much potential here. Good work so far.
Mr.Intel replied:
Conference didn't cut into my writing because I rarely write on the weekends. Neville and Luna will have roles in this story, but they won't take hold until later. The Elder Wand will definitely feature, as will the rest of the Hallows.
Thanks,

An interesting start--with the potential for an excellent story which diverges significantly both from canon and from stories with a similar premise!
