Well, I think Ginny *was* petulant, and selfish to boot in demanding that her honeymoon be a higher priority than her husband's life and future safety, but I don't have the H/G rose-coloured filters that you do.

I enjoyed the guts of the chapter, the proactive plan to rid Harry of the Elder Wand. This is only the second story I've read, I believe, which has grasped the Elder Wand nonsense that Rowling left us - Harry - with by the horns and tried to do something with it in order to make her thoughtless 'Harry becomes an auror!' interview statement consistent with her own canon. Good plan, and I was smiling until Draco materialised at the end. :-( All of that effort for nothing! :-(

I can't wait for you to read chapter ten!   Yes, I have rose-coloured filters on, but I'm happier with my H/G that way.   Just between you and me, I'm toying with an H/Hr story on the side that's less "rosey".

Draco?   He's a tosser and as he did countless times in school, he's bitten off more than he can chew.   This one's gonna cost more than a broken nose....

An excellent chapter. It's odd to think of the kind of high speed chase you decribed being done in yatchs - a cruiser especially. The average luxury yacht would struggle to move at 20km/h under just motor power (that's running pace) but it would take a long time to get up to that pace. Yatch races are slow things and the amateurs in the chasing boat would struggle to move at the same speed as the Isabella Swan, although in a motor boat they would draw circles around them. While inaccurate, it was a great read and a good laugh.

One of the things I regret about this chapter was the way I didn't express the use of magic in sailing the boats.   They are faster because of the mariner magic that is being used.   Otherwise, thanks for reading and reviewing!

I'm a Canadian that used to live a couple hours up-Island from Victoria. Canada uses Celsius, 52F is 11C, and 75F is 23C. This may be a little cold for summer, but that's exactly the kind of weather Victoria has right now.
