So Harry is a Carier for new mutation of Dragon Pox? Good idea by the way.

I do like this chapter. It will be a real pleasure to read about the changes that you will be making in the original story line. There is just one small correction to be made when you get time. Rouge is French for red while rogue is the word that should be used to describe the behavior of the ball that attacks Harry during this quiddich match. Carol

Yeah. I caught that when I put it up yesterday, but I was late leaving from work and blah, blah, blah, I didn't have any time to fix it. Thanks for reminding me, though! :)

This is really good. Time travel fics are some of my favorites, but they can get repetitive. Yours hasn't. I'm looking forward to the rest of this, and cheers for making Harry recognizably himself, while acknowledging the changes ten years made in his personality. I hate when Harry becomes someone else entirely, simply because he was older when he came back. You're doing a marvelous job.

Hmm...well this should be interesting. I like how this is going so far. It's clearly not just going to be a retelling of canon, which is good, and I don't think I've ever seen a dragon pox outbreak before- it's a good idea. I'm looking forward to seeing what else you come up with. Thanks for writing!

Hi!
Thanks for the story.
Shouldn't Dobby have stopped "helping" Harry now that the chamber's problem is solved? Or is that epidemy of Dragon Pox his work as well?

The scenes with Ginny still feel kinda off as her running away after being told she would get her fairy tale ending seems a bit odd and yet she still cheers loudly for Harry when she is suppose to be shunning him. The reactions of the two don't fit a pair of preteens. Of course in Harry's case that's understandable, but hers seem really out there. Preteen girls aren't suppose to suddenly get cold feet when they find they'll get their happy ending, that's something adults do. Young girls tend to throw themselves into things whole heartedly and as a fan girl it should be quite a bit worse. Truthfully I can easily see her trying to advance things way past the point he would feel comfortable with.
I don't quite buy the scenes with Snape as I don't quite buy his behavior in canon as being all that light. I see him as a mercenary and view anyone who tortures children as scum anyway.
With as much as I complain you'd think I'd quit reading, but truthfully I like reading this fic... and complaining about it. *grin*
Mr.Intel replied:
I can see your point on both Ginny and Snape. The thing is, Ginny isn't a typical pre-teen, IMO and I can't see her dragging Harry off to play house just yet. I don't think she's getting cold feet, either, but perhaps that's my fault for not showing what she *is* doing.
As for Snape... he's not a nice person, no matter who his loyalties lie with. Let's not you and I judge his presence in this story quite yet. ;)
As for complaining, I'd rather have ten complaints than one "I love it!" review any day. Keep 'em coming!

Michael, there is a _ton_ going on in this chapter, don't put yourself down.
Good on you for going off-script. I get tired of re-dos that just re-hash canon. Yeah, for variety!
best,
...art

Isn't Dragon Pox a very serious disease, with a high fatality rate?
I know that Draco Malfoy's grandfather Abraxan died of it, and I seem to recall that others were mentioned as dying of it.
I hope that Pomfrey takes this a bit more seriously than she appears to in this chapter.
Mr.Intel replied:
I dunno about all that, but here's what the lex has to say...
"
- Gunhilda Kneen had to sit out a Quidditch match due to a case of Dragon Pox in the 1100s (QA3)
- Chauncey Oldridge is credited with being the first known victim of Dragon Pox, but this was in the 1300s (fw25).
- Gunhilda of Gorsemoor, the famous healer, developed a cure for Dragon Pox in the late 1500s/early 1600s (fw37)
- dragon pox is treated on the second floor of St. Mungo's (OP22)
- Dragon pox is contagious, but even after a patient is past that stage he or she will have greenish skin and pockmarked skin (DH2)"

Awesome chapter, liked the match and Sirius's freedom. Not getting what happened to Dumbledore and the other students at the moment, will be interesting to see how this will continue. Looking forward to more!
